TENASSERIM-PEGU: Anonymous, 17th-18th century, cast large tin coin (41.02g), Robinson-71var, Plate 12.3, 67.5mm, the tò (mythical antelope) facing right, with feathery legs and holding a branch in its mouth, long feathery tail, uncertain symbol in the upper field // 8-spoke wheel in the center, Buddhist legend around in Burmese letters ("city of great happiness"), some obverse weakness (probably from mold deterioration), bold reverse, two natural casting flaws, much original luster (especially on reverse), another gorgeous example, EF, R.
