IMPORTANT NOTE - The Buyer's Premium is now $20 per lot or 20% of the hammer price, whichever amount is greater. This change in fee structure will allow us to continue to offer coins valued at less than $100 in addition to our higher value offerings. Contact us with any questions.
TIBET: AR kelzang tangka (3.65g), ND (1910), Y-14, square in square type, PCGS graded MS61. This special tangka, struck in better silver than the normal ga-den tangkas, was distributed to monks during the Monlam Festival ("Great Prayer" Festival) in early 1910. The distribution most probably took place in the Kelzang Palace, which is located in the Norbulingka, the park and summer palaces of the Dalai Lamas in Lhasa.
