TRIPURA: Vijaya Manikya, 1532-1564, AR tanka (10.16g), SE1454, KM-"60", R&B-86, lion right, without Queen, 3-line reverse inscription, Very Fine, RR, ex. Eck Prud'homme collection. Vijaya Manikya was the first ruler whose coins have the royal standard rising behind the lion. The standard remains on all subsequent issues with the lion, including the machine struck rupees of the 20th century. The 3-line version was only issued for a few months in SE1454 (1532 AD), and is thus very rare.
