UMAYYAD: Anonymous, ca. 710s-720s, AE fals (1.85g), NM, ND, A-I206, Zeno-287247, obverse bism Allah / sittin bi-dirham / ja'iz, "sixty to a dirham", reverse Arabic baraka ("benediction" or "blessing") at bottom, two-line Bactrian legend above, and it has been suggested that the Bactrian legend is sxola balano of sxola baiano, more likely the latter, which would be "son, descendant of Bay", choice VF, RRR. This is the first known Islamic coin with legends in both Arabic and Bactrian. The style and denomination suggest that it was struck either in eastern Khorasan or Tokharistan. The name Bay has been attested from Bactrian sources.
