UMAYYAD: ca. 720-750, AE fals (1.41g), MM, DM, A-U197, Sasanian bust right, with Arabic sittin bi-di- / -rham ja'iz to right // 2nd half of kalima in center, traces of an outer margin that probably including the name 'Umara (b. Harrîm al-Marri) and probably the the mint and possibly also the date; unpublished, crude VF, RRR. Cf. Gyselen-95 (A-B197) for a related example of Balkh AH111 with Sasanian bust on obverse. 'Umara b. Harrim was stationed in Balkh in AH111, the year after the similar type A-B197 was struck at Balkh! ('Umara may have briefly been assigned the governorship in 115 or 116 after the death of al-Junayd b. 'Abd al-Rahman).
