FAO calendar medals were issued between 1981 and 2004. Each medal promotes a theme that communicates FAO ideals or recognizes significant milestones. Most calendar medals are 80mm in diameter and issued in bronze and silver. Each medal was issued with a Certificate of Authenticity and an informational brochure.
