UNITED STATES: LOT of 2 fantasy bills, designed and engraved by Tim Prusmack, one a $2 of the Fun National Bank of Orlando (#52 out of 100 pcs), the other a $500 US Treasury Bill with (#31/250); both in pristine condition and signed by the artist on the reverse, and accompanied by envelope with his insignia; retail value $200, lot of 2 pieces, ex Charles Opitz Collection. Tim Prusmack (1962-2004) was a currency artist who was well-known for his intricate hand-drawn bills. During his active years, many would visit his table at coin and currency shows for a piece of his extremely accurate renditions. He garnered many fans for his work (among them the former US Treasurer Mary Ellen Withrow) and was dubbed the "Mozart of Money Art."
