UNITED STATES: SET of 11 AR medals, 1984, complete set of medallions designed by Salvador Dalí for the 1984 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles, each depicting on the obverse a sporting event in surrealist style (equestrian, pole vaulting, football/soccer, boxing, skiing, discus throw, archery, cycling, diving, gymnastics, track and field) and on the reverse the emblem of the US Olympic Committee; all inscribed XXIII RD OLYMPIAD USA LOS ANGELES 1984 C-DALART N.V. 1983 on the edge, each made with 1.5 ounces of .999 fine silver; all uncirculated with polished high points (as made) and matte background, housed in original acrylic display cases inside briefcase and accompanied with Certificate of Authenticity; set of 11 pieces, ex Thomas R.
