VAINGANGA RIVER: ca. 350-250 BC, AR light ½ karshapana (1.22g), Pieper-136, elephant, ornate taurine, and two 6-point star symbols, each with 6 circles around, EF, RR. This may actually be of the Umrer Hoard series, which has the normal weight of 1.20 to 1.25g, whereas the Vainganga should be about 1.70g, and there is no evidence of clipping on this piece.
