VIJAYANAGAR: Devaraya I or II, 1406-1446, AV pagoda (3.39g), Mitch-450, Siva & Parvati seated, with antelope head & damaru, struck from broad dies, pleasing style, probably posthumous issue, Very Fine. The Vijayanagar rulers after Devaraya II (d. 1446) did not strike coins until after the accession of Krishnaraya in 1509, and it is probable that posthumous issues in the name of either Harihara or Devaraya were struck during those six decades.
