ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: A new attribution is likely for Bukka I (1357-1377) as the reverse inscription has also been said to read sri vi ra bu ka raya.

Hari Hara I was the founder of the Vijayanagar Empire in southern India. This was the last Hindu kingdom of medieval India and lasted three centuries before it was defeated by the combined forces of the Deccan sultans.

Bukka I was the brother of Hari Hara I.
