Vittorio Emanuele III, Corpus Nummorum Italicorum, Volume 7: Veneto (Venezia, Parte I - dalle origini a Marino Grimani), Rome, 1915, 606 pages including 20 plates, hardcover original printing, with full title in Italian as Corpus Nummorum Italicorum, Vol. 6: Primo Tentativo di un Catalogo Generale Delle Monete Medievali e Moderne Coniate in Italia o da Italiani in Altri Paesi; Veneto (Venezia, Parte I - dalle origini a Marino Grimani). The Corpus Nummorum Italicorum, also known as CNI, was the first attempt at a general catalog of medieval and modern coins minted in Italy or by Italians in other countries. It is still fundamental today for the study and classification of the issues of the various Italian mints starting from the Middle Ages. The work, initially planned in 10-12 volumes, remained unfinished due to the outbreak of the Second World War.
