IMPORTANT NOTE - The Buyer's Premium is now $20 per lot or 20% of the hammer price, whichever amount is greater. However, we have also reduced opening bids on lower value items to adjust for the new Buyer's Premium structure, so all-in costs are still very close to what they were in the past. This change in fee structure will allow us to continue to offer coins valued at less than $100 in addition to our higher value offerings. Contact us with any questions.
WARRING STATES: State of Liang, 350-250 BC, AE spade money (8.3g), H-3.174, flat-handled sharp-cornered type, chui in archaic script, graded 78 by GBCA Grading Company, Fine, ex Dr. Dirk Löer Collection. Sharp cornered spades form a distinct sub-series of the square foot spades. They differ slightly from the normal type as they have small triangular projections on the handle. Their find spots correspond with the states of Liang and Han. See www.chnmuseum.cn/zp/zpml/201812/t20181218_23277.shtml for a tentative attribution.
