WESTERN LIAO (Qara Kitay): Daoist pendant tablet (charm) (58.23g), ca. 13th-15th century, Zeno-123615 (this piece), 30 x 64mm, copper/brass, Chinese and sacred symbols // one large enigmatic magic Daoist symbols that vaguely resembles 'phags-pa, plus what appear to be a mixture of Tibetan letters and secret religious symbols below, rectangular hole at the top for suspension, allegedly found somewhere near Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan, bold VF, RRR. A somewhat similar piece was published by Zheng Yiwei (CCC-1:2654) and incorrectly assigned to the Tang dynasty.
