AMIR OF ASTARABAD: LOT of 72 silver quarter tankas, struck by the authority of Amir Wali (1356-1386), first in the name of the Golden Horde ruler Jani Beg during his invasion into Iran (undated, but struck AH757-758, type A-2029, 57 pcs), followed by issues in the name of the Chaghatayid Buyan Quli Khan (as Buyan 'Ali, undated, struck AH758-759, type A-2009, 15 pcs), mostly crudely struck, average circulating grades; retail value $1400, lot of 72 pieces. All struck at the military mint Bazar, always undated.
